 Write PEMDAS above each problem and cross the letter of once you complete it. REMEMBER: Multiplication and Division- you MUST do whichever appears first first. Example: in this problem: 3/6 x 2 you must do 3/6 (3 divided by 6 first) then 2x2 Same for adding and subtracting (do whatever comes first left to write first!) ASK YOURSELF: Can 3 go into 7? If YES, how many times? If no, put a zero above the number THEN ask how many times can the outside number go into the first two inside numbers? Hint: Make a multiplication table from 1 to 9 for the number outside. REMEMBER: division is breaking things into groups!
